Considering I suffer from PCOS, you can imagine my need to mother things is quite high. As it seems I wont be able to have children for some time yet (if ever) I have kitties. They’re pretty special.
The oldest, Shady, has more friends and fans than I do. He’s a small, plump little russian blue with bright green eyes and little white socks on his feet. He will jump to standing height, put either paw on each side of your face, pull you toward him and kiss your face. I couldn’t make this shit up if I tried. I call it “give hugs” cause if you say “Shady! Give hugs!” he meows, circles, puts all his weight into his hind legs and pounces into the air about 5ft. Only to have me scoop him up mid air and tell him how much I love him to pieces cause hes such a smart kitty. Shady has been on 2 aeroplanes, and even when I had to move to a place where “pets aren’t allowed” I still smuggled him in. I was willing to be homeless for my cat. But if you don’t understand me, you clearly havent met shady.
Lucifer, (luchi, or lucheech for nicknames) our baby kitty, is much more cat-like. Even though he has a giant squirelly tail. He will race out the door every chance he gets, and once he’s done frolicking with the neighbour cats he comes home and sleeps on the doorstep.
They’re 7yrs apart in age, and theyre best friends. When I’m bored, they keep me entertained, and when I’m sad, they know instantly and come visit and rub their heads against my face. If you’re sad, I suggest you get a kitty, better yet, get two.
Here’s my boys:
